Service terms and conditions

Article 1 (Purpose)

  • The purpose of this Agreement is to prescribe the rights, obligations, and responsibilities of service users in using Internet-related services (hereinafter referred to as "services") provided by Forest Lab's website (hereinafter referred to as "site").

Article 2 (Definitions)

  • 1."Site" refers to a virtual business place where Forest Lab has set up services using information and communication facilities such as computers to provide certain services to users, and is also used in the sense of a business operator who operates the "Site."

  • 2."User" means the user who accesses the "Site" and provides the services provided by the "Site" in accordance with these terms and conditions.

Article 3 (Specification and amendment of the Terms and Conditions

  • 1."Site" posts the contents and trade name of these terms and conditions, the location of the business office, and the contact information (phone, fax, e-mail address, etc.) on the service screen so that users can know.

  • 2."Site" may amend the terms and conditions to the extent that it does not violate the relevant laws, such as the Act on Regulation, the Framework Act on Electronic Transactions, the Act on Promotion of Information and Communication Network Utilization, the Act on Door-to-Door Sales, and the Consumer Protection Act.

  • 3.If "Site" revises the terms and conditions, it shall notify the initial screen of "Site" from 7 days before the application date to the day before the application date, along with the current terms and conditions.

  • 4.If "Site" revises the terms and conditions, the revised terms and conditions apply only to contracts concluded after the application date, and the terms and conditions before the amendment apply to contracts already concluded before that. However, if the user who has already signed the contract sends the intention to be subject to the terms and conditions to the "site" within the notice period of the revised terms and conditions under paragraph 3 and obtains the consent of the "site", the revised terms and conditions apply.

  • 5.Matters not prescribed in these terms and conditions and interpretations of these terms and conditions shall be in accordance with the electronic transaction consumer protection guidelines enacted by the government and related laws or commercial regulations.

Article 4 (Specification and amendment of the Terms and Conditions

  • 1.The service use contract of "Site" is established by the user's expression of intention to agree to the terms and conditions and the user's consent to the use of the service.

  • 2.If the user wishes to use the service on the "Site", the user must provide the personal information requested by the site.

  • 3."Site" does not accept applications for the use of the following services (Contact):

    • 1)When an application is made using another person's name;

    • 2)If you didn't apply with your real name,

    • 3)When the contents of an application for a service use contract are falsely stated;

    • 4)When an application is made for the purpose of hindering the well-being and order of society or the good manners and customs;

    • 5)Where it is difficult to accept the use due to other reasons attributable to the applicant;

Article 5 (Service Use and Restriction)

  • 1.In principle, the use of the "Site" service shall be 24 hours a day, 24 hours a day, 24 hours a day, unless there is any particular problem with the site's work or technology.

  • 2."Site" may suspend the provision of services in the event of regular inspection, repair, replacement, failure, or communication failure of information and communication systems.

  • 3.In the case of service interruption under paragraph (2), "Site" notifies the user through notices and other pop-ups on the website. However, this is not the case if prior notice is not possible due to service interruption due to reasons beyond the control of the "Site".

  • 4.The service provided by "Site" is free by default. However, information stating that it is charged separately can be used only when the fee specified in the information is paid.

  • 5.Users shall not reproduce, transmit, publish, distribute, broadcast, or otherwise use information obtained by using "Site" for profit or use by third parties without prior consent of "Site".

  • 6."Site" shall not be liable for any damage to you in connection with the use of the service which is free of charge.

Article 6 (Interruption of Service)

  • 1."Site" may temporarily suspend the provision of services in the event of maintenance inspection, replacement, failure, or loss of communication of information and communication facilities such as computers.

  • 2."Site" may suspend the provision of services in the event of regular inspection, repair, replacement, failure, or communication failure of information and communication systems.

  • 3.In the case of service interruption under paragraph (1), the user shall be notified in the manner determined by the "Site".

Article 7 (Protection of Personal Information)

  • 1."Site" collects the minimum required information from the inquiry menu when collecting user information.

    • 1)Mandatory: Company name, name, contact information, email address, and inquiry details

    • 2)Option: Information required for other inquiries

  • 2.When the "site" collects personal information that can be identified by the user, it must obtain the consent of the user.

  • 3.The personal information provided cannot be used for any purpose other than the purpose or provided to a third party without the consent of the user, and all responsibility for this is "site".

  • 4.Where "Site" is required to obtain user consent under paragraphs (2) and (3), it shall specify or notify the personal information management manager's identity (name, phone number, other contacts), purpose of collection and use of information, and matters related to information provision to third parties (providers, purposes, and contents of information to be provided).

  • 5.Users can request access and error correction of their personal information held by the "site" at any time, and the "site" is obligated to take necessary measures without delay. If a user requests correction of an error, the "site" will not use the personal information until the error is corrected.

  • 6.When the purpose of collecting personal information or the purpose of receiving personal information is achieved, the relevant personal information shall be destroyed without delay.

Article 8 (Obligation of "Site")

  • 1."Site" shall not engage in acts prohibited by laws and conditions or contrary to public order and shall do its best to provide services continuously and stably as prescribed by these terms and conditions.

  • 2."Site" should have a security system to protect users' personal information (including credit information) so that users can use Internet services safely.

  • 3.The "site" shall be responsible for compensating the user for damages by performing unfair display and advertisement acts prescribed in Article 3 of the Fairness of Marking and Advertising Act on goods or services.

  • 4."Site" does not send advertising e-mails for profit that you do not want.

Article 9 (Relationship between the linked "home page" and the linked "home page")

  • 1.If the parent "site" and the child "site" are linked in a hyperlink (e.g. the target of the hyperlink includes text, pictures, and fairy tales), the former is referred to as a linked "site" (website).

  • 2.Connection "Site" shall not be liable for the transaction if the connection "Site" specifies that it is not liable for the transaction with the user by the goods and services provided by the connection "Site".

Article 10 (Obligations of Users)

  • 1.Registration of false information upon application or change

  • 2.Change of information posted on "Site"

  • 3.Transmission or posting of information (such as computer programs) other than information prescribed by "site"

  • 4.Infringement of intellectual property rights such as copyrights of "site" and other third parties

  • 5."Site" and other acts of discrediting or interfering with the work of a third party

  • 6.Disclosure or posting of obscene or violent messages, images, voices, or other information contrary to public morals on the "site"

Article 11 (Attribution of Copyright and Restriction of Use)

  • 1.Copyright and other intellectual property rights to works created by "Site" belong to "Forest Lab".

  • 2.Users shall not reproduce, transmit, publish, distribute, broadcast, or use the information obtained by using "Site" for profit or use it to a third party without prior consent from "Site".

Article 12 (Dispute Resolution)

  • 1.The "Site" handles complaints and comments submitted by users in priority. However, if it is difficult to process quickly, we will notify the user of the reason and the processing schedule immediately.

  • 2.Disputes between "site" and users may be subject to mediation by the Electronic Transaction Dispute Mediation Committee established under Article 28 of the Framework Act on Electronic Transactions and Article 15 of the Enforcement Decree of the same Act.

Article 13 (Judicial powers and applicable laws)

  • 1.A lawsuit concerning an electronic transaction dispute between the "site" and the user shall be filed with the competent court under the Civil Procedure Act.

  • 2.These terms and conditions apply Korean law as the governing law.

Supplementary Provisions

  • 1.These terms and conditions will take effect on October 1, 2022.
